  1. Patients have the right to receive best medical treatment
  2. Patients have the right to receive a sufficient explanation
  3. Patients have the right to choose medical practice
  4. Patients have the right to express an opinion to provided services
  5. Patients have the right to have their privacy protected

Higashiyamato Hospital’s Patients’ Responsibilities

  1. Patients have the responsibility to tell information on their health to healthcare workers
    〜They have the responsibility to provide information on their treatment history, medication history, and allergic condition〜
  2. Patients have the responsibility to cooperate with confirmation procedures in order to receive safe healthcare
    〜They have the responsibility to cooperate with the procedure to confirm their name and birth date to prevent misidentification, or errors in medication or transfusion〜
  3. Patients have the responsibility to keep the hospital orders
    Prohibited Acts: Nuisances to other patents, drinking, smoking, staying out overnight/absence without notice, verbal/physical abuse to staff, and sexual harassment
     *If they don’t follow the rules, they might be discharged.
  4. Patients have the responsibility to leave the hospital after their treatment is completed

  5. Patients have the right to express an opinion to services provided by hospitals
